Rotogate Standard

Security and Safety
The Rotogate is packed with many features that make access control more integrated and less obtrusive. It has the f lexibility to be integrated with a variety of control systems from a simple manually operated push button to more sophisticated fully automatic photocell, ultrasonic, overhead, or radar sensor devices. The Rotogate has a 180 degree operating ability; it can be right or left handed at the f lick of a switch; a gate arm that will automatically re-set in 3 seconds after it is pushed into anti-panic mode and all of it’s controls have a unique “plug and play” connection. The resistance of the breakout torque on all our Rotogates can be adjusted very simply between 60-120 Nm and for safety the opening force of the arm is limited to 8Nm, corresponding to only 1 kg of opening force.
As an option the Rotogate can also be fitted with safety mechanisms such as Childsafe. The Childsafe function means that the gate arm will instantly stop when a child is stood within the limits of the opening gate arm. As soon as the safety zone is clear, the gate will continue to operate normally. Childsafe on the Rotogate is available in two versions; Six Eye Rear Safety Zone (requires rails leading out of the gate body) and an Ultrasonic Sensor (for stand-alone gate or gates without lead out rails). As a standard feature, the Rotogate can also be linked to the store’s other security systems, for example the gate can be instructed to open on activation of the fire alarm.
Finishing Options
The Rotogate is available as standard in bright chrome. For more corporate installations the Rotogate is also offered in 304 grade stainless steel with a full depth stainless steel arm or in 316 grade stainless steel with a fully integrated safety glass arm.
