Radar

All of our gates can come equipped with a radar mounted inside the gatebody. Radars are a popular way to control entrance gates mainly because they are very effective at detecting approaching customers and radar gates can be installed where space is limited. Most of our radars work not only detecting an object, but also the direction that the object is travelling in.

Radar can be used where you do not want to have customer guide rails as shown in the illustration. Important to remember when choosing a Radar gate control is the surrounding environment. A lot of cross-traffic of people could cause the gate to open unintentionally. Objects in front of the gate, like brochure stands, may reduce the efficiency of the radar.
